Proper etiquette among the upper class in Victorian England was totally different to today. It was taboo to just tell someone how you felt so Victorians relied on the language of flowers to express their feelings. Roses generally meant love but depending on their colour, they could indicate the deepness or innocence of that love, ranging from white for purity to burgundy for unconscious adoration.
These rose earrings are inspired by my love of all things Victorian and are made to match my Victorian cross necklace. They measure approx. 10mm x 8mm and the post is sterling silver with a butterfly closure.
These earrings have been handmade by me and each pair will be different as they are handmade so please allow for slight variations in the design.
My items are inspired by Victorian memento mori and Mexican sugar skulls and more information about this can be found in my About section. If you have any questions please feel free to message me.
All items are sold with FREE 1st class postage.
